The keynote speaker will be best selling author, talk show host, and Time Magazine’s 100 Most Influential People in the World, Tavis Smiley. “This event strives to unite our community to fight against crime with love. The goal is to have a decrease in crime in our community,” said Derwin Smiley, President/CEO, The Derwin Smiley Show. Additional remarks will be provided by , Bill Mays, President, Mays Chemical Company; Eric Ellsworth, President/CEO, YMCA of Greater Indianapolis; Andrea Scott of Congressman, Andre Carson’s Office; Bertika Quintero, Eli Lilly and Company; and Dennis Jarrett, President, Champion Generation. Musical performances will include the YMCA’s Y-Zone Gospel Choir, Bethesda Temple Apostolic Choirs and Judah Band.
